Adrian & Katerina Kirby

Steward's of the Land
Adrian and Katerina lead Cortium with a focus on horses, members, and the estate itself.
 
Adrian’s lifelong involvement in polo, as a player and advocate across the UK, shapes how the estate supports progression, performance, and a natural connection between horse and rider.
Katerina ensures every aspect of the member experience is seamless and considered. From day-to-day routines to bespoke services, her attention to detail, intuition, and understanding of riders’ needs create an environment where enjoyment, well-being, and confidence come effortlessly.
 
Together, they cultivate a calm, welcoming, and highly personal environment; a place where horses thrive, members feel supported, and the estate functions with effortless efficiency.

Grounds & Facilities Lead

Kel ensures Cortium’s grounds and facilities run seamlessly, maintaining the estate with the same care and precision given to our horses. His hands-on expertise in land and infrastructure management supports every operational detail from stable blocks to woodland tracks enabling the estate to function with consistency and calm efficiency.

Business Development & Client Experience
Jemima leads Cortium’s business and client operations, shaping the smooth, refined experience that defines the estate.
With a background in luxury brand development and equestrian operations, she balances clarity, communication, and service, ensuring members feel supported and connected at every stage.
 
Her work underpins Cortium’s identity: thoughtful, responsive, and quietly considered.

Zoe Duffy

Head of Horse Care

Zoe Duffy oversees the day-to-day equestrian operations at Cortium, ensuring the highest standards of horse care, safety, and consistency across the estate.

A BHSII.SM, UKCC Level 3 Accredited Coach, and TAQA Assessor, Zoe brings extensive experience from managing large equestrian venues across the UK. Throughout her career, she has successfully maintained Highly Commended status with the British Horse Society, reflecting a sustained commitment to welfare, professionalism, and operational excellence.
